The Emily Murphy Centre, the safe housing place for women and children escaping abuse, put out an urgent plea for donations of key household staples for their pantry.
They advised in their post on Facebook that the items they are in greatest need of include:
- cereal
- juice boxes
- individual apple sauces for lunches
- school snacks
- coffee
- Mr. Noodles/Ramen
- Hair Conditioner
- Granola Bars
- Crackers
- Canned Fruits
- Cleaning Products
- Laundry Soap and Dryer Sheets
