A previously planned emergency department closure in Wingham will no longer be required.
The Listowel-Wingham Hospitals Alliance had announced an ED closure for Friday due to staffing shortages but is no longer necessary and has been called off.
The emergency department in Wingham saw a series of closures over the long weekend with paramedics still being available, re-directing to the nearest hospital over the course of the emergency department closures.
