The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation says a donation of $19,500 will help support new patient chairs to improve comfort and care for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
The donation from Katrina Klemp and her family and friends will directly support the Oncology department.
The funds were raised through two couples night golf tournaments hosted by Katrina Klemp and Justin Weishar in partnership with the Listowel Golf Course.
Hospital Foundation Executive Director Nicole Duquette-Jutzi says these new chairs will make a world of difference for patients in the Oncology Clinic.
