Yes the public prognosticator of the upcoming spring won’t be doing his usual event in Wiarton.
The town of South Bruce Peninsula issued a press release this morning stating that due to the pandemic restrictions the organizers realize hosting a Wiarton Willie Festival on February 2nd this year is not possible.
This year’s event was set to be the 65th Anniversary of the Festival.
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula will now pivot online and commemorate it on social media.
