Western University announced it was investigating, 4 arrests have reportedly been made in connection to a string of sexual violence which has allegedly occurred over orientation week at the London university.
Officials say the four cases don’t appear to be in connection to the rumours about the alleged sexual assaults at the Medway-Sydenham residences on campus which blew up on social media.
On top of reports of sexual assault over the orientation week, the school is also in mourning after the death of 18 year old Gabriel Neil who succumbed to injures after being assaulted early Saturday morning near the Western Student Recreation Centre
A total of four formal complaints have been reported from students over the past week.
Police say they haven’t received reports of incidents at the residences this past weekend.
