The Perth County OPP have charged a 56 year old resident of West Perth after a person was assaulted during a domestic incident.
Police began the investigation into a historical domestic incident on Sunday, February 20th. It was determined that one person involved had assaulted the other two times earlier in the month. The victim was not injured.
The accused has been charged with two counts of spousal assault with a weapon.
They have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in a Stratford court to answer to the charges.
