West Perth begins Green Initiative in Reducing Use of Plastic Water Bottles

The Municipality of West Perth shared news yesterday of an initiative underway to reduce their reliance on plastic water bottles.

They report that in the first week since installing a refill station and using reusable containers they have diverted 1 hundred 11 bottles.

They estimate that if they keep the same rate up it could mean diverting over 2 hundred 8 kilograms of plastic per year.

The post then asks other fellow workplaces to consider what they are doing to become more green.
