West Perth and UTRCA Treating Invasive Japanese Knotweeds

West Perth and the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority are continuing to treat the invasive species of Japanese Knotweed on the banks of the Thames River in Mitchell.

Work will continue by staff until June 16th.

The public is asked to avoid the area outlined by maps available from West Perth’s website.

The work is part of a 10 year program which began in 2019 to remove the invasive species.
