A West Grey resident has entered a guilty plea over an incident dating back to 2019.
60 year old Ronald Seifried has pleaded guilty in a Walkerton Court to dangerous driving charges causing death and failing to remain and provide assistance.
His original charge was second degree murder dated on January 4th, 2019 of the death of 53 year old Steven Berfelz at an East Brant property near Concession 4 in Brockton.
There was dispute in which Seifried ran over Berfelz with a tractor and left the scene. Paramedics found Berfelz with no vital signs and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Sentencing for Seifried will get underway March 21st.
