Wellington Terrace has partnered with the Upper Grand District School Board to help build a Living Classroom.

The living classroom model is designed to educate and prepare the next generation of health care students by putting them directly into the operations of long term care and retirement homes.

Benefits of these living classrooms include making an immersive learning environment, building a stronger healthcare workforce and innovation in personalized care.

Interested candidates will be required to attend an information session on July 29th at the Wellington County Museum and Archives.

Suzanne Dronick, Wellington Terrace’s Long Term Care Home Administrator says through hands-on experience and mentorship, our students will develop the critical skills and compassion required to care for our residents with confidence and excellence.
