Wellington County OPP are currently investigating a non-suspicious death in Fergus.
On December 15th at approximately 6:15pm officers responded to a report of a missing person in the area of Blair Street in the Township of Centre Wellington. A search was conducted with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, a helicopter, fire and rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic services.
At approximately 8:30pm police located an adult male deceased in the Elora Gorge. Foul play is not suspected. Police are continuing to investigate.
Police are not releasing the identity of the deceased at this time.
