Police say thankfully no one was injured but say the collision was totally preventable. They say not to travel unless absolutely necessary.

The Wellington County OPP advised that an officer, while on the shoulder of the road with his emergency lights activated at the scene of a collision was rear ended by another motorist.

Police say thankfully no one was injured.

They say the collision was totally preventable.

They say not to travel unless absolutely necessary.

And if you do go out, slow down and drive according to the road and weather conditions.

Police say the driving behaviour they have been seeing today is very concerning with it being aggressive and taking too many risks.

They say to stay home and stay safe while they work to clear the roadways.
