Wellington OPP Charge Palmerston Resident with Impaired Driving

Accused to appear in court on October 29th

On September 27th at around 10:30pm Wellington County OPP received a report of a vehicle collision on Main Street in Palmerston.

Responding officers spoke with the drivers and formed an opinion on one driver being impaired.

The driver was taken in for testing where it was discovered they were above the legal limit.

As a result, a 60 year old of Palmerston was charged with Impaired Operation and Impaired Operation 80 Plus. A 90 day license suspension was issued and 7 day vehicle impoundment.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on October 29th.
