The Wellington County OPP have charged a Brampton resident after an assault incident at a construction site in Fergus this morning.
Officers were called to a site on Rae Drive at around 8:30 am where it was reported 2 parties were involved in a disturbance with one having sustained minor injuries.
As a result of an investigation a 44-year-old male has been charged with assault with a weapon. He is set to appear in a Guelph court on march 8th to answer to the charge. Anyone with info on the incident are asked to contact the OPP or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
