Wellington North is currently accepting submissions for their time capsule.
To help celebrate the townships 25 anniversary, council is inviting residents both old and new to share their memories, stories and photographs which capture the essence of Wellington North.
All submissions are welcome from a treasured childhood memory, snapchat of a local event or letter to future generations.
Contributions to the time capsule are going to be limited to just written letter and printed photographs to allow as many residents as possible to submit.
The time capsule will be dedicated to the townships 25th anniversary on June 7th from 2:30-4:30pm at the municipal office.
The capsule will then stay sealed until 2049 when Mayor and Council will open it as part of the 50th anniversary.
Submissions for the time capsule are due June 5th.
