Residents in Wellington North may have seen an increase in their electricity bill.
This comes following the Ontario Energy Board approving an application from Wellington North Power to increase the rates by three per cent.
The application was first submitted in November which saw the increase in May.
Customers using 750kWh of energy in a billing cycle will notice an increase of $5.08.
This increase does not include taxes or the 17% Ontario Electricity Rebate on electrical bills.
In the change of season, summer time of use and tiered pricing has taken effect and will remain until October 31st.
