Wellington North has launched the 2025 Business Retention and Expansion Project done in partnership with Wellington County.
This initiative is designed to support downtown businesses by getting a deeper understanding of their needs, goals and future plans.
The BR+E Project will be complete with interviews with local business owners with these talks aimed to identify the needs, concerns and opportunities of existing businesses, understand future plans related to expansion, relocation or retention.
Robyn Mulder, Economic Development Officer for Wellington North says local businesses are the backbone of the economy and community and their resilience and dedication through recent challenges have been inspiring.
