Wellington North is extending its agreement with the City of Guelph to provide bylaw enforcement services in the area for another six months to run from January 1st-June 30th.
Guelph bylaw is responsible for enforcing the township’s swimming pool enclosure, door to door sales, zoning bylaws as well as the township property standards.
A pilot was launched at the start of the year which was to expire before the New Year.
In a release, Chief Building Official Darren Jones says partnering with Guelph for bylaw will continue to allow complaints to be handled more effectively in the township.
