The Wellington Healthcare Alliance has released its annual report highlighting a list of all highs hit by the alliance over the last year.
Among the success in the year was the recruitment of 230 new staff and physicians since April 1st 2024 which includes 69 nurses, 58 support staff and 37 paramedical professionals.
It was a huge year for the Groves Memorial Community Hospital with the community bringing in $2 million for a new CT Scanner to bring enhanced diagnostic are, state of the art technology for patients.
The funds were raised in just 8 months which included a $1 million donation.
