Wellington County announced today that it, along with other communities in Southwestern Ontario, are working with the Community Energy Association to develop a Regional EV Charging Network Strategy.
The collective of communities includes the City of Guelph, St. Marys, Stratford, Counties of Perth, Dufferin, Bruce, Huron and Grey.
The network would consist of both Level 2 and 3 chargers. The first are located in proximity of local tourist destinations including restaurants, shopping and attractions with the second being faster and used for quick pit-stops on longer trips.
