The Milverton Firefighter’s Association shared word today of a generous donation received from McKillop Mutual Insurance.
The donation of $2,500 is in support of their fundraising efforts for the department to acquire battery powered extraction tools.
In a recent release the department says having the tolls would permit them to work in remote areas, tight spaces, deep in the bush and down steep embankments to get to victims.
The Department says they are 2/3rds of their way towards their Fundraising Goal adding every little bit helps.
