Rolling average of new case in Wellington County have more than doubled

Wellington Dufferin Health is reporting a new high for active cases in their Region.

They reported 231 new cases over the weekend which brings active cases in the Region to a high of 679 which exceeds the previous record of 634 set last Thursday.

In Wellington County they reported 45 new cases from over the weekend and now have a record 122 active cases surpassing the last high of 119 from Friday.

In the last two weeks the rolling average of daily cases in the County sits at 13.57 cases per 100,000 up from just 5.57 two weeks ago.

There is 1 outbreak at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home declared on April 2nd where 5 staff cases were identified.
