Wellington County has renewed financial support for the Wellington Rural Water Quality Program for another five years.
This announcement follows as the County and Grand River Conservation Authority launching a digital marketing campaign celebrating 25 years of RWQP projects.
The program provides financial and technical assistance to Wellington County farmers and rural landowners who are implementing projects to improve and protect water quality across the area.
Over the last 25 years, the program has given $11 million in grants supporting almost 4000 projects on top of $19 million in landowner investments.
