The County of Wellington have partnered with the Cities of Stratford, St. Marys, Huron and Perth Counties and more to develop a plan for a regional electric vehicle chargning network.
The plan will help identified preferred location for level 2 and DC fast charging stations based on computer modelling, capacity and feedback from the communities.
Wellington County Climate Change and Sustainability Manager Karen Chisholme says transitioning to electric vehicles is a big part of reducing greenhouse gases in rural communities.
