Wellington County in response to increased demand for efficient and climate resistant homes is bringing advanced training to building and renovation industry professionals.

Karen Chisholme, Wellington’s Climate Change and Sustainability Manager says homeowners are always looking at ways to reduce energy consumption and their carbon footprint but are faced with challenges to find skilled contractors and energy advisors locally.

With the help of the Canadian Home Builders Association, a two part “Towards Net Zero Renos” training course will launch in October and December.
