Minto, Wellington North, Mapleton and Erin are among the areas of Wellington County and 144 areas across the province receiving federal and provincial funding.
The funding is going towards water infrastructure projects.
The federal government is putting more than $190.2 million through the Green Infrastructure Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
Erin will be receiving just under $2 million from the federal and $1.7 million from the province for watermain replacement and water system upgrades.
Mapleton will see $1.9 million and $1.6 million in federal and provincial respectively.
Minto will see $80,500 from the feds and $67,077 from the province while Wellington North will see $451,000 from the federal and $375,796 from the provincial government.
