Wellington County is working alongside the Canadian Home Builders is making their innovative Home Energy Tool Kits available across municipalities and Home Builders Associations across Canada.
Wellington County built the kit to help homeowners better understand their energy use, save money and lower their carbon footprint.
Hands on tools tips and step by step is all offered in the kits to guide users through eight comprehensive activities and cover everything from mechanical systems to lighting efficiency.
James Seely, Planning Committee Chair says their collaboration will help enable communities nationwide to adopt their proven tool kit.
