The Wellington County Learning Centre is celebrating Black History Month with a Creative Youth Competition.
It sees youth able to submit written pieces, creative art pieces or audio video recordings on potential tops of your experiences as youth of colour, how a historical person of colour inspired you or other heritage and identity stories.
The competition is open to youth in Wellington County between the ages of 12 to 18.
They encourage youth of any ability to apply. For the link for more information and to submit you can find it at our website.
The prize up for grabs is a laptop.
The competition closes February 22nd.
