Wellington County Invests $200,000 in COVID-19 Business Recovery

Focus areas include operating safety, mental health and shop local promotions

Wellington County is going forward to help small businesses within the county in COVID-19 recovery.

Following recommendation from the economic development committee to approve business retention and expansion actions were approved at the February 25th council meeting. The plan will bring in $200,000 in recovery funding from the county’s 2021 budget.

Four key areas will be focusing on operating safety, business services, mental health resources and shop local promotion for Wellington County.
