Wellington County OPP are turning to the public for assistance after a 15 year old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle.
On Tuesday at around 8:20pm, OPP were joined alongside Guelph-Wellington Paramedics to a report of a collision between a cyclists and a motor vehicle on Highway 89 in South Gate Township.
It was found the 15 year old was riding their bike westbound along the side of the road on Highway 89 when they were struck, suffering serious but non life threatening injuries.
The vehicle did not stop and was last seen heading westbound on Highway 89, described as an older silver sedan similar to a Lincoln Town Car or Grand Marquis.
Anyone with information or may have security surveillance footage to contact police.
