The Wallace Minor Hockey Association has launched an online raffle to help raise money to keep registration costs affordable for everyone.

The group says that due to Covid and provincial rules they lost their Bruce Williams Wallace Minor Hockey Fundays Jamboree that usually happens in January each year.

They have focused on raffling off the items that had been meant for that event.

Minor Hockey Executive Fundraising Committee Member Abby Stirling says that there is lots up for grabs.

“People can purchase tickets and everything will go into draws for 9 packages.  We have a few kids packages, some game boards, gift cards, things like that. There are 3 different jersey packages including Kitchener Rangers and tickets to the game. There is a Yeti Cooler and a Nintendo Switch with a Game.”

“Our biggest prize is Support Local Dinner Night In. Dinner for 4 from Winston House Catering, $200 Shop Local Dollars, $50 LCBO Gift Card, $50 Gift Card to Victorian Inn and Spa for a Flower Arrangement, 4 Hour House Cleaning by Peachie Clean and a $50 Fresh Start Bakery Gift Certificate.”

Tickets are available now so for a chance at the items you can buy 1 ticket for 5 dollars or 5 for 20.
