The Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation shared word of a generous donation of $3,000 recently by the Walkerton Capitals hockey team.
The funds were proceeds from their Battle of the Badges tournament with the Walkerton OPP and local firefighters.
The Foundation says they are so grateful to have such amazing community support and they are beyond happy that the day was such a success.
