The annual Walk for Dog Guides with the Mount Forest Lions saw a great turnout raising over $4000.
Around 26 walkers took part in the event on Saturday with donations still coming in which officials are hoping will reach over $5000.
The Mount Forest Lions have been a part of the Walk for Guide Dogs for over 35 years with proceeds from the walk going towards a new training centre for dogs.
The walk was held for the first time in William D. Moody Park.
