The Perth-Huron Branch of Victorian Order of Nurses is adding a Palliative Care Volunteer Program to the list of Community Support Services.
The goal of the program is to help support individuals living with life limiting illness and their care partners by matching trained, compassionate volunteers who will provide emotional support, comfort and caregiver respite through the end of life.
An information session will be held Tuesday October 19th from, 2-3pm for anyone interested in becoming part of the program. The session will be held over zoom.
