Students in the Upper Grand District School Board took part in the 2022 Skills Ontario Competition who placed in the virtual competition.
39 competitors from the school board took part, 9 of which placed with 7 medalists.
Among them included gold medalists Kohan Wesselink and Max King in 3D Character Animation, Rachel Driedger in Workplace Safety for gold and another gold in Precision Machining from Ben Henning.
Each of the students are from Centre Wellington High school.

- Workplace Safety: Rachel Driedger (Centre Wellington District High School)
Mark, Landon, Ben and Rachel will be moving on to the virtual National Skills Competition at the end of May.
Silver
- Job Interview: Noah Noguiera (Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute)
Bronze
- Geographic Information Systems: Kohan Wesselink and Maximilan King (Centre Wellington District High School)
- IT Network Systems Administration: Wyatt Zymerman (Centre Wellington District High School)
