Centre Wellington councilor Steven VanLeeuwen has been found to not violate the townships code of conduct when he joined the End the Lockdown Caucus.

VanLeeuwen did not also not violate the code of conduct in any other way such as social media posts according to a report by integrity commissioner Guy Giorno.

Giorno was asked to begin an investigation back in late February to find whether or not VanLeeuwen had breached the code upon joining the caucus which includes members such as PPC Leader Maxime Bernier and MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston Randy Hillier.

VanLeeuwen has said previously he joined the caucus to start a dialog of lockdowns causing more harm than good as mental health has taken a toll on many over the course of the lockdowns implemented.
