The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is set to begin work on the RT Orr Dam in Stratford to reinstall a sluicegate.

The conservation authority removed the sluicegate in January for structural repairs and repainting.

Work is set to start May 12th and last until 16th depending on the weather.

Blocked areas for the work will include the York Street parking lot, Huron Street Bridge underpass and the North end of pedestrian bridge across the dam.

There might be some minor traffic disruptions during the work sight with signage posted during this time.
