Ward & Uptigrove’s parking lot will be the site tomorrow for United Way Perth-Huron’s campaign kickoff.
North Perth will be hosting a kickoff launch with food trucks on site and new for this year being a game-a-thon going from 11am-4pm.
There is no cost to attend with registration required for the games.
Lee Anne Andriessen, Chair of the North Perth Community Committee for the United Way Perth-Huron says they are putting their focus to tackle a variety of issues seen within the community for the campaign.
“We have some pretty big unignoreable issues like homelessness and mental health that really need to be addressed. The United Way can help support through counselling and funding.” Andriessen.
In years past, United Way has announced their yearly campaign goal which regularly has been used to tackle the unignoreable issues in the region including homelessness and mental health.
