Hanover Police have charged two people following investigation.
On January 4th police stopped a Ford F250 in the area of 10th Street and 17th Avenue with the truck fleeing at a high rate of speed with no chase ensuing due to safety reasons.
The investigation led into identifying a 30 year old suspect.
On January 25th at around 8:30pm, police found the suspect in the passenger seat of a car and arrested him following a traffic stop.
Police also found a quantity of methamphetamine and fentanyl along with $2000 in cash.
As a result the 30 year old from West Grey was charged with Possession of Meth and Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Flight from Police, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, Failure to Comply with a Release Order and Dangerous Operation.
A 22 year old Hanover was also hit with trafficking charges.
