A recent traffic stop has resulted in a drug trafficking charge being laid against a Goderich resident.
On Saturday, December 12th just after 10am an officer observed a known suspended driver travelling westbound on Huron Road.
A traffic stop was conducted and a check on the driver indeed confirmed the driver was driving with two valid driver’s license suspensions.
The driver was arrested and a search during the arrest resulted in police finding suspected methamphetamine and drug trafficking materials.
A 54 year old male from Goderich has been charged with trafficking a schedule 1 substance and 2 counts of driving while under suspensions.
He was released and will appear in a Goderich courtroom on February 2nd to answer to charges.
