Traffic is moving once again at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor this morning.
Windsor’s police chief says they have arrested two dozen protesters with a dozen vehicles being towed from the international border.
Protesters held firm for over a week at Canada’s busiest border crossing as protests continue in Ottawa against COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
Police began their enforcement on Saturday following Premier Doug Fords announcement of invoking a state of emergency to resolve the blockage at the border.
Police Chief Pam Mizuno thanked law enforcement who were able to have a peaceful end to the protest.
