Top doctors for the province are calling on the government to extend the lockdown in Toronto and Peel.
Medicals officers for those cities sent the request in a letter to Ontarios chief medical officer. Both medical officers in Toronto and Peel said while cases are dropping, they’d still like to see measures extend an extra 2 weeks to ensure low cases continue.
The provincial government has said previously they consult all medical officers in each region before deciding where a community will be placed.
A decision will likely be made on Friday
