A new therapy room at the Wingham and District hospital is now complete and move ins have begun.
The therapy room includes a full kitchen space, allowing those in rehab programs to be assessed before they are discharged to see how they act and adapt in a home environment.
This therapy room better allows assessors to make wiser decisions and allow for a safe discharge plan.
The room will also allow recreational therapists to provide additional therapeutic activities for patients during their stay.
