A dispute between a landlord and tenant has resulted in charges against the renter.
On August 30th at around 3:30pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a call of a heated dispute between both parties.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with both involved and learned a long argument between the landlord and tenant turned to the tenant threatening the landlord and then “belly-bumped” them causing the landlord to be knocked to the ground but no injury was reported.
As a result a 58 year old man of Erin was charged with Assault and Uttering Threats.
The accused will appear in court at a later date.
