Teeswater Driver Faces Stunt Driving Charge Caught Driving More than Double Limit

Driver's pickup truck was observed travelling northbound on London Road at a very high rate of speed and observed on radar driving in excess of 50 km over the posted 50 km limit.

Huron County OPP advise that a Teeswater resident will be making a trip back to Huron County for a court date later this spring after being charged with stunt driving this week.

Officers on Monday at approximately 8:47 pm were conducting speed enforcement in Belgrave when a pickup truck was observed travelling northbound on London Road at a very high rate of speed.

The officer then obtained a speed reading of the pickup in excess of 50 km over the posted 50 km limit.

A traffic stop was initiated and a 28 year old male of Teeswater has been charged with stunt driving. They will attend a Goderich court to answer to the charge.

The pickup was impounded for 14 days and their drivers license suspended for 30 days.
