A driver faces racing in Wellington North after because caught them last Sunday.
On September 26th at approximately 5:30pm the West Region Traffic Support Unit of the OPP was monitoring traffic on Highway 89 east of Mount Forest.
They observed a blue pickup driving in excess of 150 km per hour in a posted 80 zone.
As a result a 18 year old male of Collingwood has been charged with street racing and is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court to answer to the charge.
The drivers’ license was seized for 30 days and the vehicle impounded for 14 days.
