Wellington County OPP are reminding the public and fellow emergency services of the tools available to them in response to last weeks fatal crash in Mapleton.
On June 12th officers along fire and EMS services responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of 4th Line and Wellington Road 12.
The crash resulted in five youth dying and multiple injuries.
Carly McKeown of Wellington County OPP say these events can be tough on everyone from witnesses to first responders.
“Events of this nature are never easy, if you are struggling please reach out. Wellington County OPP is committed to working together with our community so that everyone has access to the support they need, especially in times of tragedy.” said McKeown.
Victim Services Wellington and Victim Services of Waterloo both remain available as tools to access for those who need support.
