Perth County has announced the results of their inaugural year of the Perth County Stewardship Program.
The 2024 program saw the planting of 14,955 trees and one woodlot assessment.
The program offered a series of intake streams to support community groups and individual landowners to complete stewardship programs across agricultural and rural lands.
Demand for the program was high with 45 applications.
Perth County remains committed to cultivating a greener future through the Stewardship Program with the intake for 2025 opening up in Autumn 2025.
