Students from both St Michael Secondary School and Stratford Intermediate raised a total of $2500 in two fundraisers for the Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron’s Ukraine refugee resettlement campaign.

Grade 11 students at St Michael’s took part in a class project which had them hand craft products which was then marketed and sold to staff and students.

Students at Stratford Intermediate raised around $2000 through their Spare Some Change for Ukraine campaign.

The money from the fundraisers will help go towards purchasing food, household supplies and other goods for incoming Ukrainian refugee families who will settle across Perth and Huron.
