The City of Stratford is denying claims staff are putting out set dates to clear out homeless encampments.
The city notes there have been posts made over social media claiming the City is clearing out the encampment near the transit terminal and evicting individuals who remain there but no such claim is true.
Staff continue to work with those to ensure individuals are safe, exploring alternative housing options and offering support with the removal of damaged or unused items.
Staff on Thursday arrived to the site with a loader to clear out items at the encampment which were damaged by rain or no longer needed.
